an angle is 30 degree more than half of its complement

(an angle) is 30° more than half of (its) complement

θ = 30° more than half of θs complement

θ = (half of θs complement) + 30°

θ = (θs complement)/2 + 30°

θ = (90° - θ)/2 + 30°

2θ = (90° - θ) + 60°

2θ = 90° - θ + 60°

2θ + θ = 90° + 60° = 150°

3θ = 150°

θ = 50°

its complement = 40°

half its complement = 20°

30° more than half its complement = 50° = θ

Step-by-step explanation:

The complement of 45° is the angle that when added to 45° forms a right angle (90° ).
