if an angle is 6° less than twice its supplement how much does each angle measure

Let one angle be x°and another angle be (2x-6)°

x + 2x - 6 = 180 \\  3x = 180 + 6 \\ x =  \frac{186}{3}  \\ x = 62 \\  \\
one angle = 62°
and another angle = (2×62-6)°
= (124-6)°
= 118°
