if an angle is equal to twice it's supplement, find the angle​

Answer:

When the sum of two angles equals 180 degrees, they are referred to as supplementary angles,which forms a linear angle together.

Let us consider one supplement angle = X

Twice of supplement angle = 2X

X + 2X =180o

3X =180o

X = 180o /3

X = 60o

Supplement = 2 × 60o 

∴ Supplement = 120o

Let supplement be x 

∴Angle=2x

x+2x=180

3x=180

x=60°

Now , Supplement = 2x=2×60=120°
