Hello

Two angles are complementary when their sum is 90 degree.

So let one angle be x.

Second be x/2

A.T.Q

x + x/2 = 90

[denominators are different so take LCM and add]

2x + x/ 2 = 90

3x/2 = 90

3x = 90*2

3x = 180

x = 180/3

x = 60

Angle One = x = 60

Second angle = x/2 = 60/2 = 30

The degree of the half angle is 30°.

CHECKING

As mentioned, Two angles are complementary when their sum is 90 degree.

60 + 30 = 90

Hope it helps

Thank you
