Explanation:

Animals have evolved over time and developed several type of digestive systems. One such example of digestive system is Gastrovascular Cavity.

Gastrovascular Cavity is the phenomenon that takes place in primitive animals like Phyla who have just one opening in their body for digestive system. Food goes in and waste comes out of the same opening.

They don't certainly have a separate mouth and anus like humans.

Example is jelly fish

The consuming of food of an individual organism depend on its level of organisation  Whether they are

1 ) Well Developed. or

2 ) Well Organised body plan.

Few Organisms take food by filterfeeding method or Taking food particles from water.

Ex:- Porifera --> Sponges ( Through Phagocytosies ).

In Cnidarians , these are specialised stinging Cells called Enidocytes which help them to capture food .

Ex:- Sea Animone .

Like in Cnidarians few Organisams belonging to class Coelenterates have Nematocytes which help in food capture through their Tentacles .

Few like Bacteria take food by decomposing organic matter.

Plants take Nutrients from soil through roots .

Ex :- Amoeba capture food through Pseudopodia .

Paramecium - Cilia present on its body sense food the nearby and organisam moves forward to capture food and engulf the food.
