If an arc of a circle has a length of 4 pi cm and a radius of 6 cm, then what is the measure of its central angle?

s ( length of arc ) = 4π cm

r = 6 cm

since, theta (central angle) = s/r

=> theta = 4π/6

=> theta = 2π/3 radians

In degrees,

theta = (2π/3)(180/π) = 120°
