If an area of trapezium is 44sq.cm, whose parallel sides are 10cm and 12 cm and height is 4cm, then verify that.

 a = 10 \:cm \: b = 12 \:cm \\(a , b \: are \: two \: parallel \: sides )

 Height (h) = 4 \:cm

 \boxed { \pink { Area (A) = \frac{(a+b)h}{2} }}

 A = \frac{(10+12)\times 4}{2}\\= 22\times 2 \\= 44\: square \:cm
