If an edge of a cube increses by 3cm/s at what rate is the volume increasing when its edge is 10 cm

Given : da/dt=3cm/s and a=10cm
Volume of the cube =a3
Differentiating w.r.t t on both sides we get,
dv/dt=3a^2da/dt
Step 2:
Substituting for a and da/dt
dv/dt=3×10×10×3
=900cm3/s
The rate at which the volume of the cube when the edge is 900cm3/s
