3 hours daily. How much electrical energy
would be consumed daily? Also find the cost if

Electric energy consumed per day

= power of bulb* no. of hrs

= 100*2

= 200 wh

= 0.2 kWh

so, cost of lighting bulb = rate * electric energy

= Rs (2*0.2)

= Rs 0.4

That means the cost of lighting bulb for 2 hrs.

= 40 paise.
