Given:
Power = 60W
Time = 10 hours per day
One unit (kWh) = Rs. 3.50
Find:
Total amount to be paid in a month of 30 days
Solution:
We know that
Energy = power*time
Energy = 60*10 = 600Wh per day
Now total amount of energy required for 30 days will be
= 600*30 = 18000Wh = 18kWh per month
We have given that cost of 1kWh = Rs. 3.50
therefore, total amount to be paid in a month of 30 days will be
= 18*3.50
= 63 rupee per month
