if the 100 watt bulb is lighted for 10 hours it will be 1 unit so according to question 2 hours will become 10 hours in 5 days and in a month there are 30 days means 5 / 30 equals to 6 units in a month and if the cost of 1 unit is to rupees then cost of 6 units equals to 6 x 2 equals to 12 rupees, now to get cost of 1day divide 12by 30 you will get the answer 40paise.

Electric energy consumed per day
= power of bulb * no. of hrs.
= 100*2
= 200 wh
= 0.2 kwh
so, cost of lighting bulb = rate * electric energy
= Rs (2*0.2)
= Rs 0.4
That means cost of lighting bulb for 2 hrs. = 40 paise.
