Let the height through which the body is lifted be h.

Energy supplied by the engine = 100 Joules

Weight of the body = 0.2 × 9.8

Now, we will apply energy conservation.

The energy supplied by the engine will get converted into the gravitational potential energy.

mgh = 100

h = \frac{100}{0.2 \times 9.8}

h = 51.02 meters

Hence, the height through which the body gets lifted is 51.02 meters.

kunal598: how weight become 0.2
ArnimZola: Hey 200 gram = 0.2 kg
ArnimZola: Any doubt?
ArnimZola: And it is not weight, it is mass. Weight = mass * gravity
kunal598: no problem thanks

W=mgh
h=100÷200×10^-2=50m
