Given:- AB=BC=AC=1/2BD =1/2DC

To prove:- AD^2=3BC^2

Procedure:- In ∆ABD. By applying Pythagoras Theorem

AB^2=AD^2+BD^2

AB^2=AD^2+(1/2BC)^2. (BD=1/2BC)

BC^2=AD^2+1/4BC^2. (AB=BC)

AD^2=BC^2 - 1/4BC^2

AD^2=3/4BC2

4AD^2=3BC^2. Proved.....
