Let the integer be x.
So, square of the integer = x^2.
According to question:-
x^2 + x = 90
x^2 +x -90 = 0
x^2 +10x -9x -90 = 0
x (x+10) -9 (x+10) = 0
(x+10) (x-9) = 0
x = -10 or x = 9
Both the values are satisfying the equation (x^2+x = 90), Therefore the value of x can be both i.e. -10 and 9.
Hope it helps.

Answer:
Answer:x= -10, x = 9
solution: x^2 + x =90
x^2+ x -90=0
x^ 2 +10x- 9x - 90 =0
(x-9) (x+10)=0
x=9, -10
