ExplanatiIt is a displacement reaction. The iron on the surface of the rod swaps places with the copper in the solution. So the iron rod gets a copper coating and the blue copper sulphate solution changes to a green ferrous sulphate solution. When Iron rod is dipped in Copper sulphate solution which is light blue in colour
