1 kg means 1000 gm

so, for 1000 gm cost is rs.280

this means 1gm cost rs. 280÷1000=rs.0.28

for 150 gm, cost is rs.150*0.28= rs.42

Answer:

RS.42 for 150g

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of item for 1 kg=RS.280

Cost of item for 150g= 1g=1/1000kg

                                  =150g=150/1000kg

                                  =0.15kg

                                  =0.15 x rs.280

                                  =RS.42

Therefore,cost of item for 150 g = RS.42

How do I do this question?

I use to convert 150 g into ks because 1 kg into g can get a huge decimal no. in division by 280.

and in this process i don't divide because the weight is already has 1 as the no. of kg .So no need of division.
