bcoz if a object is at rest there is some kinetic energy always present
there is no material which has 0 kinetic energy except B.E.C

Here's your answer
Momentum= mass×velocity
Mass can never be zero.... therefore.....if the momentum is 0 ...... that means velocity is 0
Now we know that....... kinetic energy=1/2mv square
(Again mass can not be zero.)...and the velocity is 0 ......
Then it's obvious...... kinetic energy will also be 0
