If kinetic energy is zero then either mass or velocity is zero. But , If an object has no mass or no velocity it cannot be said that it has momentumor energy of motion. ... But kinetic energy of the bodies will not be 0. Itwill be equal to 1/2mv^2 .Since K.E isscalar therefore direction of v won't play any role.

Hence, when the object has zero momentum, its kinetic energy is also zero.
