if an object is held at a distance of 60cm from a convex mirror of focal length 20cm. At what distance from the convex mirror should a plane mirror be placed, so that images in the two mirrors coincide​

1/f=1/v+1/u

1/20==1/v-1/60

v=15 cm

so the distance between object and image is 60+15=75 cm

so mirror should be placed at 75/2=37.5 cm away from object

60-37.5=22.5 cm

away from convex mirror
