if an object is placed at a considerable distance in front of a convex lens, where is the image formed?

Convex lens is a converging lens

If the object is in infinite then the objects formed I sin focus

The image is formed at the back of the convex lens at different positions depending upon the object distance, if the scope of the word considerable distance means distances more than the length from focus to pole.
