if an object is thrown vertically upwards with speed 60m/s, how long does it take to complete the upward journey? what maximum height does it achieve?

Answer:

u= 60 m/s

v= 0

g= 10 m/s^2

t = ? , s = ?

v=u+at

0= -60+ 10t

60= 10t

t= 6 s

s= ut+ 1/2 at^2

 = 0*6 + 1/2* 10 *36

 = 180 m
