Given :

  • Mass of the object, m = 50 kg
  • Velocity of the object ,v = 20 m/s

Need to find :

  • Energy possessed by the object ?

Solution :

As we know that,

KE = ½mv²

where,

  • 'KE' denotes Kinetic Energy
  • 'm' denotes mass
  • 'v' denotes velocity

Putting the values,

➜ KE = ½ × 50 × 20²

➜ KE = ½ × 50 × 400

➜ KE = 25 × 400

➜ KE = 10,000 J

Hence, the Energy possessed by the object is 10,000 Joules.
