Frequency=Number of oscillations per 1 second

Given number of oscillations = 20
Time= 1 second
therefore Frequency = 20 oscillations per second = 20 hz.

Given :

Number of oscillation in one second = 20

To Find :

Frequency of oscillation

Solution :

Frequency of oscillation of a vibrating particle is defined as the number of complete oscillations executed by it in 1 second.

As per question, 20 oscillations are completed in one second.

Therefore, the Frequency of oscillation = No. of oscillation in one second

∴ The Frequency of oscillation of an object oscillating 20 times in a second is found to be 20 Hertz.
