If an object shows zero displacement , Is it necessary that the distance is zero ? Class 9th

Take the case when you go to school from home and then come back home. You have covered a lot of distance but still your displacement is zero because your final position is your home. Also in the case of a runner running in a circular track, the runner has zero displacement when he runs a full lap around the track and reaches the same position from where he started.

In this case the Distance is actual length covered by you which is twice the distance between Delhi and Agra but here displacement is shortest distance between initial position and final position . Here your initial and final position is same(Agra) so shortest distance between initial and final position is zero So displacement is zero
