4 m/s because their speed will be added

According to the question,

let the speed of the observer with respect to the mirror be S m/s

Let the speed of the image with respect to the mirror will be - S m/s

As given in the question,

S= 2 m/s

As we know,

the velocity of image(v_{i}) = - velocity of the observer(v_{o})

The speed of the image with respect to the observer = v_{i} - v_{o}

⇒ 2 - (- 2)

⇒ 4 m/s

The speed of the image with respect to the observer is 4 m/s.
