if an offspring exactly similar to its parent? why or why not?​

Answer:

An offspring is not exactly similar to the parents because he/she get genes from both of the parents so he/she will have characteristics of both of the parents or mix of it. If the children have both inherited genes from the same parents, you would expect them to look quite similar.
