Step-by-step explanation:

4y^2 - 8y + 12 = 0

=> 4(y^2 - 2y + 3 ) = 0

=>y^2 - 2y + 3 = 0

its printing mistake thats

y^2-2y - 3= 0

(y-3)(y+1) = 0

so, alpha is 3 and beta is -1

now

(4x3 - 8)^-2 + 4(4 x-1 - 8)^-2

=>(12-8)^-2 + 4(-4 - 8)^-2

=>4^-2 - 48^-2

=>1/4^2 - 1/48^2

=>1/16 - 1/2304

=>(144-1)/2304
