 If α and β are the zeros of quadratic polynomial f(x)=x²-px+q,then find the value of 1/α + 1/β

on comparison

p = α + β and q = αβ

now, p/q = (α + β)/αβ

=> α/αβ + β/αβ = p/q

therefore 1/α + 1/β = p/q
