$a + B = -b/a$

$a + B = -5/1$

$a + B = -5 ---(1)$

Now,

$aB = c/a$

$aB = m/1$

$aB = m ---(2)$

Lets substitute (1) and (2) now!

$(a+B)^2 - aB = 24$

$(-5)^2 - m = 24$

$25 - m = 24$

$m = 25 - 24$

$m = 1$
