Step-by-step explanation:

 \alpha  \: and \:  \beta  \: are \: the \: zeroes  \: of \:

x² + 4x +1

a=1

b=4

c=1

sum of zeros =

 -  \alpha  +  \beta  =  - b \div a \:  \\  \\  \alpha  +  \beta  =  - 4 \div 1 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  -  -  -  -  -  - 1

product of zeros -

 \alpha  \beta  = c \div a

- 1/1. ----2

from eq1. multiply by 4..

to equal both.. b and c...

a is same...
