if sum of any two angles 90 then they are called complementary

A +B =90 let the complement of A is B
4x+2 +B =90
B= 90-4x-2
B = 88-4x
complementary angle = B = 88-4x

sankar4: 84
sankar4: x=84
mysticd: 84 is wrong
mysticd: 88-4x is correct
sankar4: ooo thanks

If two angles are complementary it means sum of the two angles is equal to 90°
Let the complementary angle of A be B
So,
=>A + B = 90°
=> 4X + 2 + B = 90°
=> B = 90 - 2 - 4X
=> B = 88 - 4X

So, complementary of angle A is (88 - 4X)°
