\sf\ \red{Given:-}

  • \sf\ ∠A \: and \:∠B \:are \:acute\: angle.
  • \sf\ cos A = cos B

\sf\ \red{To\:Find:-}

  • ∠A = ∠B

\sf\ \red{Solution:-}

\sf\ According\: to\: the\: question :

\sf\ Let\: cos A\: = \dfrac{side\: adjacent\: A}{Hypotenuse}

\dashrightarrow\: \sf\ \dfrac{AC}{AB}

Similarly,

\sf\ cos B = \dfrac{side\: adjacent\: B}{Hypotenuse}

\dashrightarrow\: \sf\ \dfrac{BC}{AB}

Given that,

\sf\ cos A = cos B

\sf\ \dfrac{AC}{AB} =\dfrac{BC}{AB}

\sf\ AC = BC

\sf\ In\: triangle,

\sf\ angles\: opposite\: equal \:side\: are \:equal.

\sf\ ∠B = ∠A

Hence proved.
