if angle a in the diagram equals 45 degrees and angle b is 4x + 5 degrees determine the value of x

Let x   =  third angle of the triangle

thus   


  45° + (4x + 5)° + x°    =  180     /  sum of the interior angles of a Δ= 180°

    50 + 5x  =   180

             5x   =    180-50  =   130

               x    =      26°

45°+4x+5+x = 180°

50+5x = 180°

5x = 180 - 50 = 130

x = 130/5 = 26

x = 26
