For what value of k are 2k, k + 10 and 3k +2 are in AP?

2. If in an AP, a25 – a12 = -52, then find the common difference.

Given:

The angle between 2 radii = 80°

To Find :

The angle between the tangents

Explanation:

ΔAOP = ΔBOP

OP=OP

OA = OB

PA ≅ PB

ΔAOP≅ΔBOP

∠AOP =∠BOP

∠AOP =∠BOP = 40°

∠APO =∠BPO  ---1

∠AOP+∠PAO +∠APO = 180°

40°+90°+∠APO= 180°

∠APO = 180°-130°

∠APO =50°

∠APB = ∠APO + ∠BPO

∠APB= 50° + 50°

∠APB =100°

The figure for to understand the solution is attached below
