Angle of reflection will be 45° too.

  • Let's assume that a light ray falls on a reflecting surface such that the angle of incidence is 45°.

Now, as per the LAWS OF REFLECTION:

  • 1. The angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection.
  • 2. The incident ray, normal and reflected ray lie on the same plane.

From these rules, we can say that:

  • Angle of reflection will be 45°.

  • And , angle of deviation will be 180° - 90° = 90° (just know this for information)
