p=40°

q=r

q+r+p=180°[angle sum property]

2r=180°-p

2r=180°-40°

2r=140°

r=140°/2

r=70°, q=70°

r+m=180°[angles on the same side are supplementary]

m=180°-70°

m=110°

q+l=180°[angles on the same side are supplementary]

l=180°-70°

l=110°

Hence, angle LMR=70°
