Angle POR and Angle QOR form a linear pair. (given)

∴ Angle a + Angle b = 180° (Two adjacent angles form a linear if and only if they are supplementary) ... (1)

Angle a - Angle b = 80° ... (2)

Adding (1) and (2)

➙ 2∠a = 180° +80° = 260°

➙ ∠a = 130°

Substituting ∠a = 130° in (1)

➙ 130 + ∠b = 180°

∴ ∠b = 180° - 130° = 50°
