so,

x°+(x-20)°+(x-40)°=180°

=>x°+x°-20°+x°-40°=180°

=>3x°=(180+20+40)°

=> 3x°=240°

=> x°=240/3°=80°

so the angles of the triangle are 80°,(80-20)°=60°, (80-40)°=40°
