2)rate of jacket is 500

total amount is 17500  

persentage =part/whole into 100  

=2500/17500into 100

=  14.2%

3) total no.of students=2000

no.of boys=45%

no.of girls failed in the exam=32%

total percentage=45%+32%=77%

let's assume that total no.of students are 100%

so, no.of girls passed in the examination=100%-77%=23%

no.of girls=2000×23/100

=460
