If Antonio is shown mercy by the duke,against the wishes of Shylock what would be its implication?

if Duke show mercy to Antonio then the court system of venice will destroy in simple words if Duke show mercy then Shylock will heir many his Jew friends against the venice court as well as Duke bcoz Duke is meant to make justice whereas he is helping Antonio here...that is against rules.....
