The amount she had in the starting.

Solution

So Anuja spent 70% of her total money. So now she has 30% of the total money left. (100 - 70 = 30)

So now, we have to solve this equation to find the amount Anuja had in the start ⇒ 30% × x = 900

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

30% × x = 900

Step 1: Convert 30% in fractional form.

→ 30% × x = 900

\dfrac{30}{100} \times x = 900

\dfrac{3}{10} \times x = 900

Step 2: Multiply both sides with ¹⁰/₃

\dfrac{10}{3} \times \dfrac{3}{10} \times x = \dfrac{10}{3} \times 900

x = 10\times 300

x = 3000

∴ Anuja had Rs. 3000 in the beginning.

Let anuja have Rs. x in the beginning

It is given that she spent 70% so obviously 30% would be lefted.

So here our equation would be 30%×x =900

When we simplify we get ,

 \frac{30}{100}  \times x = 900

After this , we can further simplify:

 \frac{3}{10}  \times x = 900

Now , divide

 \red{\sf { \frac{3}{10} \:  \:  from \: 900}}

So it become 3/10/100

 \frac{10}{3 }  \times 900

 = 3000

3000 - 70\% = 900

∴ Anuja had Rs. 3000 in the beginning.
