If any sort of damage is done to the consumer by the trader then they can move to the consumer country by the consumer protection act 1986.

It is possible to move to the consumer court to avail compensation under the section “Right to seek Redressal”.

It means that when the consumer gets exploited then he was given to get adequate compensation for the damage done.

Consumers have the right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices and exploitation if any damage is done consumer has right to get compensation depending on degree of damage "consumer forum" guide consumers on how to file cases  in the consumer courts thus the act has enabled us as consumers to have right  to represent in consumer courts under RIGHT TO SEEK REDRESSAL
