• These are the building blocks of the matter.
• These are the most basic unit...of matter..which on constitution form matter
• just like as cells are basic unit of our body,we are made up of cells...same it goes for the atoms
• They are purest forms of elements.
• eg. H(hydrogen),Ca(calcium).

#Molecules:

• These are the derive from the combination of more than one atoms.
• can be combination of same or different types of atoms.
• elments of different atoms form molecules.
• eg. H2O(water),O2(oxygen).
