QUESTION:

1) A GARDENER ARRANGES PLANTS IN ROWS TO FORM A SQUARE .HE FINDS THAT DOING SO 15PLANTS ARE LEFT OUT . IF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PLANTS ARE 3984THEN FIND THE NUMBER OF PLANTS IN EACH ROW

subtract the total no of plants with the left outs....
ie 3984 - 15 = 3969

and then on square rooting......
√3969 = 63 ( as area of square is x^2)

and thus u have the answer
