Initial momentum= m ×u

= 0.05×100

= 5 kg.m/s

Final momentum = m × v

= 0.05 × 0

= 0

Retardation =

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

0^2 = 100 ^2 + 2 × a ×0.002

0 =10000 + 0.004a

-10000=0.004 a

a = -10000/0.004

a =- 2500000m/s^2

Force =

F = m × a

F = 0.05 ×-2500000

F = -125000

Retarding force = 125000N
