Some parts of the standard library are covered by specifications (for example, the Web Server Gateway Interface (WSGI) implementation wsgiref follows PEP 333,but most modules are not. They are specified by their code, internal documentation, and test suites. However, because most of the standard library is cross-platform Python code, only a few modules need altering or rewriting for variant implementations.

The detailed description of "Ear Sketch" is as follows:

  • Ear Sketch is a free online educational programming software developed by the co-creators, Prof. Jason Freeman and Prof. Brian Magerko of the Georgia Institute of Technology in the year of 2011.
  • Through this Digital Audio Workstation named Ear Sketch, the developers aim to teach coding to as many as possible, with the help of music composing and remixing activities.
  • The website is mainly used by musicians and programmers in order to create their own music.
  • Ear Sketch runs on JavaScript and Python, which are the programming languages that Ear Sketch is built on.
  • The main advantage of the software is that it can be accessed without any installation or sign-up.
