If anyone is making a career in physics do let me know below. Well, I don't want to get reported so let's ask a question to which I already know the answer for.

a motorcycle is being driven at a speed of 20 metres per second when brakes are applied to bring it to rest in 5 seconds the acceleration produced in this case will be?

Answer:

u (Initial Velocity) = 20 m/sec

v (final velocity) = 0 m/sec (at rest)

time (t) = 5 secs

a = (v-u) /t

a= (0 - 20) / 5

a= -20 / 5

a = -4 m/sec square

Therefore Deceleration produced is 4 m/sec square
