question 1
If f(x) = 11x-7 and F(x)=3/4x+3 , express

Answer:

F(x) = 2x³-11x²-4x+1

If f(x) is divided by (2x+1), then f(-1/2) is the remainder.

f(-1/2) = 2(-1/2)³-11(-1/2)²-4(-1/2)+1

= 2(-1/8)-11(1/4)-4(-1/2)+1

= -1/4-11/4+2+1

= 3 - 12/4

= 3-3

= 0

(2x+1) is a factor of f(x) as remainder is zero.

Hope it helps you ☺
