Suppose B alone can finish the work in x days
A's one day work= 1/20
B's one day work = 1/x
A+B together work= 1/10
As per the problem
1/20+1/x= 1/10
1x+20/20x = 1/10
(cross multiply)
10(x+20)=1 * 20x
10x+200=20x
200=20x-10x
200=10x
x=200/10
x=20
Therefore B alone can do the work in 20 days!

Hope this was helpful
