If ∆AOB~∆DOC, Where OAB=40°, AOB=50°and OBA=90°.Then find ODC, DOC, OCD.​

Given :-

  • ∆AOB ~ ∆DOC.
  • ∠OAB = 40°
  • ∠AOB = 50°
  • ∠OBA = 90°.

Concept used :-

  • when two triangles similar , than their corresponding angles are congruent. (or Equal .)

Solution :-

we have given that, ∆AOB ~ ∆DOC .

So,

∠OAB = ∠ODC = 40°

∠AOB = ∠DOC = 50°

∠OBA = ∠OCD = 90° .

Extra :-

  • when two triangles are similar , their corresponding sides are also in same proportional.

in given ∆'s , we have ∆AOB ~ ∆DOC ,

so :-

→ AO/DO = BO/CO = AB/DC .
